When is the shop officially closing?
Our US shop is closing at the end of the year. We’re grateful for your support and want to ensure you have plenty of time to browse and place any last orders.
Will there be clearance or final sales before closure?
Yes — we’ll be offering attractive deals throughout this period as we wind down operations. Keep an eye on our “Sale” section to catch the special offers as they appear.
When can I place my last order?
The final day to place orders will be December 23, 2025. All orders submitted by this date will be processed under normal terms. After that date, no new orders will be accepted.
What happens to outstanding orders placed before closure?
Don’t worry — if you place your order by December 23, your purchase will be shipped as usual, and standard order-processing and delivery terms apply.
Will customer service be available after the shop closes? If yes, for how long?
Yes — our customer service team will remain available for a period of time after the shop closure to assist with inquiries, order follow-up, returns, or warranty matters. We will communicate customer support channels in advance to ensure you have ample support.
How can I download past invoices or receipts?
- You can access your past invoices and receipts through your account. We strongly encourage doing this prior to year-end, as account access and document availability may become limited after the closure.
What happens to my personal data after the shop closes?
We are committed to handling your personal data responsibly. After the shop closes, your data will be managed in accordance with applicable privacy laws and our privacy policy. We will either retain only the data required for legal or financial obligations or securely delete it. If you have specific questions about your data, please contact our customer service team.
Warranty FAQ

Is my warranty still valid after the shop closes?
Yes, all machinery includes a one-year warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty period will be honored, and our customer service team will be available to address any inquiries regarding machine functionality.
Who will handle warranty claims once the shop is closed?
Tchibo will maintain a customer service team to address inquiries regarding warranty terms.
How do I submit a warranty claim after closure?
Customers will have the option to contact us via email, live chat, or by calling the number listed on our website or in your machine manual.
Will spare parts still be available after the shop closes?
Spare parts will be subject to availability. However, repair services will be fully covered by Tchibo if the machine remains within its warranty period.
Is there another service partner or manufacturer I should contact for repairs?
Tchibo disclaims responsibility for any unauthorized modifications or alterations performed by third-party manufacturers; such actions may result in the voiding of the product warranty.
How long will technical support remain available?
Technical support will be provided for one year following the closure. Subsequently, warranty claims will be honored for customers who purchased extended warranties.
What happens if my machine needs repair under warranty after the closure date?
Tchibo will maintain a customer service team to address inquiries regarding warranty terms.
Will you provide documentation for future warranty/service needs?
Yes, warranty claims will proceed in accordance with the currently established procedures.
Subscriptions FAQ

Will my subscriptions be automatically canceled?
Yes, subscriptions will be automatically canceled at the end of September 2025. You do not need to take any action to cancel your subscription.
Do I need to cancel my subscription myself?
No action is required on your part for the cancellation of subscriptions. We will handle this automatically as part of the closure process.
How will I know when my subscription officially ends?
We will notify you via email about the process.
Can I transfer my subscription to another service/product?
Unfortunately, subscriptions cannot be transferred to another service or product. However, we encourage you to check our offerings for comparable experiences.

No. Founded in 1949, Tchibo has been delighting coffee connoisseurs for 75 years, becoming the #1 coffeehouse in Europe. It is, however, now new to America.
The name “Tchibo” is actually an abbreviated combination of co-founder Carl Tchiling Hiryan’s name and “Bohne”, which means “bean.” That’s why the Tchibo logo is a roasting bean.

"Röst Frisch " is a stylized version of "röstfrisch" which means "freshly roasted" in Europe. Tchibo is passionately committed to fresh coffee. Every single step in our process is dedicated to deliver the freshest coffee experience from bean to cup.
We follow the sun around the world, back and forth across the equator, harvesting only 100% Arabica beans in peak season from the finest coffee-growing regions around the world – such as Brazil, Colombia, Honduras and Guatemala.
Tchibo Röst Frisch is a sustainable, finely crafted coffee for your home. Every step in our process is dedicated to creating exquisitely fresh, aromatic coffees. With 75 years of experience, we carefully roast the beans in the legendary Tchibo tradition to bring out over 800 different aromas. Then, at the exact moment of peak intensity, this flavor and freshness is sealed in and protected by Tchibo Aroma Protect™ to provide the finest taste experience.
TCHIBO AROMA PROTECT™ ensures the freshness and conservation of aromas in your whole bean coffee - by locking freshness in and oxygen and light out. In our sealed coffee packages, a one-way valve moderates the ideal conditions for fresh coffee. Fresh roasted coffee needs to be de-gassed for up to 2 weeks. The one-way valve removes the gas and moisture -- while preventing air from entering. By protecting coffee from oxygen and its aging effects, it stays fresher longer. In our whole bean bags, the sealed pouch comes with a spout and non-metallic packaging sealing cap. When you open the cap, it cuts into the bag, breaking the seal. (Warning: do not stick your finger into the spout as there are sharp edges to cut into the bag.) The easily resealable cap locks out oxygen, helping to prolong the coffee’s freshness and can be re-sealed air-tight again.
Good question! We’re not talking about fresh-brewed coffee, which is a function of when you made it. We’re talking about fresh flavor – which is a function of how you make it. The legendary Tchibo Röstmeisters are completely committed to freshness – from farm to cup – creating richer, more flavorful and aromatic coffee.
Whole Bean bags: The whole bean coffee bags can easily be opened via the TCHIBO AROMA PROTECT cap: Just twist the cap on the side of the bag. No need for cutting!
Ground Coffee bags: Cut the ground coffee bag along the top tab, ideally in one smooth cut.
Whole Bean bags: Just twist the AROMA PROTECT cap back on to ensure the freshness of your coffee and conservation of aromas.
Ground Coffee bags: Use a sealing clip to re-seal the bag and store in an air-tight container to ensure the freshness of your coffee.
We recommend using a sharp pair of scissors and cutting straight across the bag ¾ of an inch from the top. This way you have enough room to roll and seal the bag.
The shelf life of coffee is all about keeping oxygen out. Technically, our coffee doesn’t go bad. But if you leave it unsealed, the fresh aromas start to noticeably diminish after 2 weeks.
To ensure the freshest coffee experience possible, you can find the "best before" dates to all TCHIBO RÖST FRISCH packages. To keep unopened coffee fresh after you bring it home, store it in a cool, dry place and use before the "Best before" date. After opening, use it within two weeks
First of all, always store your coffee beans in a closed package under cool conditions. Grind your coffee right before brewing. Use a clean coffee grinder (ideally, a ceramic coffee grinder). The coffee should not become too warm during the grinding process. You should select a medium grinding degree for drip machines or a coarser grinding for French Press preparation. If it is too fine, the coffee can become bitter. Too coarse, and the coffee will taste thin and weak.
Our foil packages are a mix of plastics and aluminum with a strong lightweight laminated film that is used to protect our coffee from light, oxygen and other environmental factors to keep its full freshness and flavor.
The paper folding boxes contain 95% carton material -- non-corrugated paperboard with a great stability to store your inner pouch and its coffee.
Our TCHIBO RÖST FRISCH packages are recyclable in some areas but not all. Please check with your municipal department to find out if our coffee bags can be recycled in your area.
Please dispose of the packaging in an environmentally friendly manner in the designated waste containers.

However, we only focus on the necessary features that affect the taste of coffee -– not a lot of unnecessary extras. This allows us to offer you The Tchibo machine at an unbeatable value.
19. That said, the pressure at which the pump pushes water through the system will change depending on how much coffee is in the machine. Or whether you use the boost button. It will also change depending on the grinder setting. It will be less if the grinder is set to a very fine setting as the water has a harder time passing through the grounds.

Yes. A limited one-year warranty. You can read about it here. For all machines purchased on or before August 15th, 2021, you are automatically registered. For machines purchased after this date, you will have to register for the warranty online. You will have register within 30 days of purchase.
No, only whole coffee beans – this ensures a fresh and aromatic cup of coffee every time.
No, the Bean to Brew machine has one coffee bean compartment for your favorite coffee.
It is actually only possible to fill the machine with coffee beans as and when required, so you need to choose one type of coffee bean until you refill the machine: either espresso or regular coffee.
However, it is possible to make a very good espresso with regular coffee beans – and vice versa. Try it out and see what tastes good. If you make both types of coffee often, we recommend that you use strong, dark-roasted, regular coffee beans.
If you use the Bean to Brew machine every day, we recommend cleaning the brewing unit once a week.
Descale your machine as soon as this is indicated on the display. This helps to save energy and increases the service life of your machine. Depending on how often you use your machine, you should do this once a month to a few times a year.
The descaling program consists of two steps: descaling and rinsing. You will find all details on this in the operating instructions and video instructions
Use a standard, liquid, descaling agent suitable for coffee and espresso machines. Other agents may damage materials in the machine and/or have no effect.
Especially in the case of espresso, the amount of coffee is so minimal compared to the size of the cup that it cools quickly. We recommend preheating your cup before making coffee. To do this, press the hot water button. Around 1.7 US fl. oz. (50 ml) of hot water will be dispensed into the cup. Pour the water away before starting to make a coffee.
Set the grinding degree to a finer setting and, if necessary, press the Boost button to make the coffee stronger.
Note: You can only adjust the grinder setting when the grinder is operating.
The rinsing cycle starts automatically whenever the machine is switched on. You can interrupt the cycle by pressing the water button. However, you cannot deactivate this function.
During the rinsing cycle, coffee residue and leftover water are flushed out of the machine’s pipes, and the coffee spout opening is rinsed. This is crucial, as it ensures that the quality and temperature of your coffee remains consistent every single time.
You can find more information about possible adjustments in the operating instructions under “Adjusting the automatic rinsing cycle”.
Adjust the grinder to a coarser setting.
Note: You can only adjust the grinder setting when the grinder is operating.
The machine needs to be descaled even if the "Descale" symbol is not lit up. Proceed as described in the “Descaling” chapter in the operating instructions, or follow the steps in the descaling video.
The machine automatically switches into standby mode if you do not press any buttons for about 10 minutes. This helps to save energy.
You can increase this length of time to 20 or 30 or 120 minutes. You can find all details regarding this in the operating instructions under “Standby mode”.
The machine detects if the coffee bean compartment is empty based on the energy consumption of the motor for the grinder. Even a small amount of coffee beans is enough to prevent the “Refill beans” symbol from being activated.
If this happens, brew one to two more cups of coffee. The symbol should then appear on the display.
It is normal for a certain amount of coffee to collect next to the brewing unit – for technical reasons it is not possible to prevent this completely. This may happen in particular if the grinding degree has been set to a coarse setting, or if the Boost button is used, as this means that the brewing unit is filled with as much coffee as possible.
The water tank sensor should detect an empty water tank, prevent the machine from running on empty, and activate the corresponding warning symbol. However, leftover water on the outside of the tank may disrupt the sensor. If this happens, we recommend drying the outside of the tank after filling it with water.
The tank should not be filled with water after it has been inserted into the machine.
The machine does not check the amount of coffee grounds in the coffee grounds container, but counts the number of times coffee is brewed. Because of this, the “Empty coffee grounds” symbol may still light up even if you have emptied the container in-between. Simply empty the container again.
When emptying the container, make sure that you do not reinsert the drawer and coffee grounds container into the machine until the “Empty coffee grounds” symbol starts to flash; only then has the machine registered that the container has been removed.
Emptying the coffee grounds container while the machine is switched off will not be registered.
This can happen if the on/off button is pressed too gently. This does not happen if the button is pressed firmly. If the machine still cannot be operated, please call 1-888-824-4261
