Our favorite coffee recipes

An espresso and caffè crema from Tchibo is a pleasure on its own. Refined with spices, ice or spirits, our coffees prove how versatile they are. Why not try a chocolate chilli coffee, a latte macchiato or a pumpkin spiced latte – irresistibly delicious. Browse our delicious coffee recipes!

Latte Macchiato

What you need:

  • 9 ounces of milk
  • 1.2 ounces of espresso

Recipe:

  1. Foam up 9 ounces of milk with your milk frother.
  2. Fill the foamed milk into your Latte Macchiato glass.
  3. Pour 1.2 ounces of espresso carefully and slowly into your glass. The typical division occurs immediately: first milk, then espresso and finally the foam on top.

The Tchibotini

What you need:

  • Ice Cube
  • 1 1/3 parts Vodka
  • 2/3 coffee liqueur
  • 2/3  Tchibo Rostmeister espresso
  • 3 whole coffee beans

Recipe:

  1. Fill a shaker with ice cubes.
  2. Add all ingredients.
  3. Shake and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with coffee beans.
  4. Prepare the espresso coffee beforehand and let it chill. That will help to minimize the dilution, make your drink colder and even tastier!

Pumpkin Spiced Latte

What you need:

  • 4 tbsp cinnamon powder
  • 4 tsp nutmeg powder
  • 4 tsp ginger powder
  • 3 tsp clove powder
  • agave syrup
  • 1 tbsp of fine pumpkin puree
  • milk
  • fresh espresso

Recipe:

  1. Mix the spices together. Mix one tablespoon of the mixture with the agave syrup.
  2. Pour the pumpkin puree into a glass and pour the syrup over it.
  3. Froth the milk and pour it into the glass. Pour fresh espresso through the froth, then stir everything carefully.

Chocolate Chili Coffee

What you need:

1 1/2 red chili or chili flakes

100g chocolate

12 ounces of milk

1 tsp Chai herbs

2 cups of caffè crema

cocoa powder

Recipe:

  1. Wash the chillies, pat dry, halve lengthwise, deseed and finely chop. Roughly chop the chocolate. Bring 200 ml milk, chili, chocolate and chai herbs to the boil in a saucepan, remove from the heat and leave to stand for about 5 minutes.
  2. Froth the rest of the milk at the same time.
  3. Pour the chocolate chili milk into glasses through a sieve. Add Tchibo Barista Caffè Crema and milk froth.
  4. Decorate with chili and cacao powder as you like.
