5 Ways to Improve your Coffee

5 Ways to Improve your Coffee

1. Store your coffee correctly

Oxygen, as you know, ages and corrodes all organic objects. Opened packets of ground coffee will stay fresh for about seven days at room temperature. It retains its aroma twice as long in the fridge and three to four times as long in the freezer. One of the main reasons for Tchibo's even longer freshness is our patented Aroma Protect Technology™, which locks out light and over 99% of oxygen.

An opaque container that can be sealed airtight is ideal for storage. A tightly sealed coffee can keeps coffee beans or powder fresh for longer and also guarantees the coffee aroma longer than storing in the opened package.

2. Use fresh, high-quality beans

The quality of your coffee largely depends on the quality of your beans. Look for beans that have been roasted within the past two weeks and that have been ethically sourced from reputable coffee producers.

3. Grind your beans just before brewing

The bean encloses and protects the sensitive coffee aromas like a natural aroma vault. Coffee begins to lose flavor and aroma as soon as it's ground. For the best possible cup of coffee, grind your beans just before you brew them, and choose the appropriate grind size for your brewing method.

4. Control the water temperature and brewing time

The water temperature and brewing time are critical factors in determining the quality of your coffee. Use water that's between 195°F to 205°F and brew your coffee for the appropriate amount of time based on your brewing method.

5. Use The Tchibo coffee machine

Our Tchibo coffee machine is an automatic coffee and espresso machine that grinds your coffee beans just before brewing at a controlled water temperature. You can adjust the grinding degree to get your preferred taste of fresh coffee - cup by cup. Shop The Tchibo now.
